April 23rd (see itinerary below) I'm making my second trip to Asia.  I was originally going to leave late August, but due to a change in events, have decided to go much sooner!  A lot of people asked why I went to P.I. before (volcanoes, white beaches, jungles, insane traffic, cheap stuff, great food, and beautiful/friendly English-speaking people), but I don't expect as many questions about Hong Kong.  In case you still need to ask, here's a description I pulled up:

Hong Kong: is a sensational destination for a vacation. Well known for its shopping, modern architecture and food, Hong Kong is a cosmopolitan and vibrant city. But there is more to Hong Kong than the Chinese markets and breath taking skylines. Hong Kong's history and culture are fascinating and it is well worth taking some time out to experience all that the region has to offer. Catch a ferry to take the opportunity to visit some of the 234 outlying Islands. Those worth visiting include Lamma Island, Poi Toi and the car free Island of Cheung Chau. Come and experience the distinctive blend of East and West in this dynamic city. Hong Kong is a dazzling blend of diversity and sophistication.
